North American T-28B Trojan 137702
North American T-28B Trojan 137702 (MSN 200-65), on display at the Air Force Flight Test Center Museum Airpark, Edwards AFB, CA. After US Navy service, bailed to the US Army on 17 July 1969 and operated by the Army Aviation Engineering Flight Activity [AAEFA], at Edwards AFB, CA. Intended as a chase aircraft for the Lockheed Cheyenne helicopter, it was deemed incapable of matching the Cheyenne's anticipated acceleration and manoeuvrability, but was retained for airspeed calibration testing and miscellaneous test support duties. 16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
