The West London Union workhouse on Cornwallis Road in Upper Holloway, North London, was erected in 1864. The architects were Searle, Son and Yelf. In 1869 the building was taken over by the parish of St Mary s, Islington. The building was used to house prisoners of war during World War One

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (38x32cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
