Angel Inn, Guildford
An etching of the Angel Inn, one of Guildford's large coaching inns established in the middle ages, with Jacobean or Tudor timber framing. The success diminished during the 1840s, when railways became a more efficient mode of transport, and thus the premises became less useful. Date: circa 1921
