July 1954: Delivered to the United States Navy.1954: Naval Air Test Centre (NATC).August 1954: Converted to YA3D-1Q electronic reconnaissance aircraft.1956-58: Operations with VQ-2 with unit code JQ and call-sign 1.16 October 1958: Crashed (on approach to Adana AB, Turkey or near Port Lyautey, Morocco, sources differ) 4 crewmen killed. Date: 1954
