General von Mackensen and Turkish Officers
Anton Ludwig August von Mackensen (1849 1945) - German soldier and Field Marshall. He commanded with success during the First World War. In 1916, he commanded a multi-national army of Bulgarians, Ottoman Turks, and Germans against Romania, having crushed military resistance in Serbia in late 1915. Date: circa 1916
