St Katharines Home for Girls, Southbourne
The St Katharines Home, Southbourne, Bournemouth. The property was known as Sandymount and was located on Crescent Road (now Southbourne Overcliff Drive. In 1892 it had become a Waifs and Strays Society establishment. The home accommodated twenty girls aged between 8 and 12. The home remained in this building until 1920, when it moved to a new location. Date: c. 1907
