Sir Richard Marsh, politician, Eastbourne
Sir Richard Marsh (1928-2011), English politician, at Eastbourne. He was Labour MP for Greenwich from 1959 until 1971, and became a government minister. He left politics in 1971, and became a supporter of Margaret Thatcher in 1978. In 1981 he became Baron Marsh and sat in the House of Lords as a crossbench peer. Date: 1960s
