Russian battleship Tsarevich at Toulon, France
The Russian battleship HIRM Tsarevich (or Tsesarevich), named after the heir to the Russian throne. Built in France, launched 1900, commissioned 1901, seen here at Toulon. She was renamed Grazhdanin (meaning Citizen) in 1917, and decommissioned in 1918. She served in the Pacific during the Russo-Japanese War, then in the Baltic during the First World War. Date: 1903
