Prince George giving homage to King Edward at coronation
The church paids its homage and then came the turn of Prince George (future King George V). Prince George knelt, and then the King raised him and kissed him on the left cheek. Then the King, crowned in all magnificence, stretched forth his hands and drew the Prince to him, and twice they kissed again. Date: 9 August 1902
