United States Air Force - Convair B-36A Peacemaker (msn 12) This aircraft was the first B-36 delivery to an operational unit when it taxied under its own power from Air Force Plant 4 to Carswell AFB at Fort worth on 26 June 48; onboard was Amon G. Carter who hand-carried a plaque dedicating the aircraft to the City of Fort Worth. 7th Bombardment Wing, Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, TX. Converted to RB-36E-5-CF. 72nd Bombardment Wing, Ramey AFB, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in Featherweight Configuration II. To MASDC, Davis Monthan Air Base on 17 September 1956 and scrapped there. Date: circa 1950
