Fleet Super Bonanza N174SV
Fleet Super V Bonanza N174SV (msn SV115) (donor aircraft msn D-422 built in 1947). In the late 50s Bay Aviation (formerly Oakland Airmotive produced a twin-engined conversion of the V-tailed Beech Model 35 Bonanza. Nine bonanzas were converted by Bay Aviation before the rights, design and tooling were sold to Fleet Aircraft in Canada, where a further five were converted. Conversion of this aircraft was completed in March 1963 as N772MD, later registered NC3018V, N1T, N9935R and N147SV - Sustained substantial damage in a non-fatal 26 February 1964 crash in Maryland, caused by deflation of the nose wheel strut. It was subsequently damaged in another non-fatal accident on 29 March 1975, in collision with fence-posts and finally destroyed in a fatal accident on 30 May 1975 at Omak, Washington.
