Norwich, Norfolk - A Carnival - Seven Women dressed as the Portland Vase advertising Wedgwood. The Portland vase was in the news at the time as th Earl of Portland tried to sell the original (Roman) vase at Christies, but it failed to reach its reserve. Wedgwood saw the opportunity and jumped on the topical bandwagon!! Date: 1931
