Black marble mantel clock with brass plaque to Charles Cheers Wakefield by Royce Limited, Trafford Park, Manchester As a mark of esteem March 22nd 1903'. Charles Wakefield, 1st Viscount of Wakefield, founded Castrol, was Mayor of London and a noted philanthropist. The clock is adorned with a spelter figure of Napoleon. The movement is stamped A.D. Mougin. 26 inches. Date: 1903
