Manuel II of Portugal (as a boy)
King Manuel II of Portugal as a boy (1889-1932) - the last King of Portugal, from 1908 to 1910. Exiled to Twickenham, London after the Republican Revolution of 1910. At the time this photograph was taken, Manuel was still second in line to throne, a postion which would tragically change following the assassination of his Father King Carlos I and elder Brother Luis Felipe in Lisbon in February 1908. Date: circa 1899
