LCC-LFB Vehicle and equipment workshops complex
The Headquarters complex at Lambeth SE1 had extensive vehicle and equipment workshops. Maintenance, repair and restoration work could be undertaken by highly skilled mechanics and craftsmen. Ladders were built at the workshops, and hose and ropes cut and adapted to meet the Brigade's needs. Seen here is the vehicle repair workshop with appliances in varying stages of repair and maintenance

Turkish Law Courts - The trial of Ihsan Eryavuz, also known as "Topcu" Ihsan ("Artilleryman" Ihsan), Mehmet Ihsan Bey (1877-1947) - a Turkish career officer, government minister and politician. On January 26, 1928 Eryavuz was put on trial before the Supreme Court for charges on defraudation related to the repairs at the battlecruiser TCG Yavuz. He was sentenced to two years of aggravated imprisonment. Date: 1928

Repairing bomb damage to the Royal College of Physicians
Page from The Sphere showing repair work being carried out to the bomb-damaged Royal College of Physicians in their building on Pall Mall East on the north west corner of Trafalgar Square. One hundred and fifteen years after its opening, in June 1940, a bomb pierce the iron roof and the building was badly damaged. Photographs below the sketch by W.P. Robins show the lecture hall, main salon and entrance hall, all undergoing repairs. Date: 1947
