Dark red dress: open bodice, basques, pagoda sleeves & 2 bands crossing over a habit shirt. Pink dress: vertical striped fabric worn with black lace fingerless gloves. Date: early 1850s

Two elegant dresses suitable for travel. One has a bodice of broderie a langlaise, the other uses a striped fabric to great effect. Date: March 1931

FABRIC CANOPY INTERIOR
J Isabeys exhibition rooms: Decorative carved panelling on the walls also forms a screen to divide the space. Lengths of cloth form a canopy. Earth colours are used on the walls. Date: 1820

HAT SHOP DEBACLE
The female attire includes a fox fur stole, over-coat, court shoes & a dress with puffed sleeves made of a heavy (?knitted) fabric. The men wear single- breasted suits & spats. Date: 1930s
