Westland S. 55 series 1 G-AOHE
Westland S.55 series 1 G-AOHE (msn WA.126) of Bristow Helicopters, on floats. First registered in 1956, AOHE was registered to the South Georgia Co. Ltd. for shipboard whale-spotting operations, operated by Christian Salvesen. Bristows acquired the helicopter in 1961 and it was later converted to Series 3, powered by a Bristol Siddeley Gnome H1000 Mk.501 turbo-shaft engine, but was destroyed on 18 June 1969. 16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
