If we look closely, we can see traces of a pencil foundation and some of the lights appear to have been scratched out of the water-colour with a knife and we have but to examine the eyes to see that the artist can control his brush and pencil to extreme precision when he so desires Date: circa 1926

Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
