Charter recording a mortgage for a house, cut into two pieces for use as book binding material. On parchment. Text in dark brown-black ink in a gothic cursive hand. Most of the text appears to be present if the two pieces are laid side by side but the edges of f.2 have been roughly cut and some pieces are missing from the top two lines. In a German dialect, possibly Middle Franconian. Also includes a 19th/20th century transcription of the text Date: 1440

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
