Shadows of a Great City by Joseph Jefferson and L R Sherwell. First produced in England, at the Princesss Theatre, 14 July 1887. Later on tour to Opera House, Haverhill, New Hampshire from 19 October 1908. On the left is Nellie rowing a boat. On the right is the sensational scene at the end of Act II when the hero rescues Nellie from the prison on Blackwells Island. Date: late 19th century

16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
