Earls Court House
The eminent surgeon John Hunter (1728-1793) bought this house in Earls Court in London in 1765. It had large grounds which he used to house a collection of animals including zebra, Asiatic buffaloes and mountain goats, as well as jackals. In the house itself, Hunter boiled down the skeletons of some of these animals as part of research on animal anatomy. Date: 1875

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
