A costume created by Dolly Tree for Florence Rice during the production of Stand up and Fight (1939). This afternoon ensemble for the cocktail hour was fashioned in gold lam combined with deep brown crepe. Depending upon the richness of the material for the only trimming, the seam stripes of the metal cloth were a note of distinction and the soft antelope gloves and bag of brown were ideal accessories. There were flowers on top of her brown felt pancake beret. Date: 1939

16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
