A male training workshop at Caterham Imbeciles Asylum. Like its twin at Leavesden, the asylum was established in 1870 by the Metropolitan Asylums Board for Londons sick poor with mental conditions such as epilepsy and severe learning difficulties. Date: circa 1923

Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
