Has She Joined the Mustard Club by Wilton Williams
Glamorous 1920s woman in a blue, fur-trimmed coat and with vivid blonde hair. The title of the picture is a play on the recently launched advertising campaign for Colmans Mustard. The Mustard Club promoted the companys products with recipe books, songs, postcards and games. It must have had some impact as this picture appeared just a month after the campaigns launch in September 1926 (it ran until 1933). Date: 1926
