On the left, a dark grey and lemon check suit with a pleated skirt and high buttoned neck line, worn with a flat little hat trimmed with mother of pearl hat pins and fine veiling. The outfit on the right is an oatmeal coloured woollen dress with the ridge of each pleat emphasised with black stitching.
