A Diabolo player by German photographer Reinhold Thiele
Composite photograph of a Diabolo player by noted photographer (Karl Anton) Reinhold Thiele (1856-1921), born in Hamelin, Germany. Thiele arrived in London in 1878 to work for William Henry Prestwich and joined the London Stereoscopic Company in 1880. Thiele specialising in photographing football teams and became one of the first press photographers. He was a pioneer of flashlight photography fom his Chancery Lane Studio. Date: 1910s
