A scene from the County Championship match between Kent and Sussex at the Angel Ground, Tonbridge, Kent. The famous Indian player, K.S.Ranjitsinhji is at the crease for Sussex, facing the bowling of A.Hearne, with C.B.Fry the batsman at the non-strikers end. Ranjitsinhji scored 192 not out in his innings and in doing so passed 1000 runs for the season. The match was drawn. The Tonbridge ground continued to be used by Kent until 1939 Date: June 1900
