Seen here outside the Globe Theatre, London, where an adaptation of Thomas Hardys novel, Far From the Madding Crowd, is in production. Pinero thinks its very much like his play, The Squire, which he based on Hardys novel. The irony is that this new production is an adaptation by Hardy himself.
