Caricature of Richard Claude Belt (1851-1920), English sculptor -- The Champion-Belt. A libel case between him and a former employer, Charles Lawes, ran for six months in 1882, over the disputed credit for a sculpture. Belt won the case but Lawes filed for bankruptcy to avoid payment.
