Rescue of a woman following a V2 rocket attack in Manor Park. Although many rescues took place, hundreds of Londoners died in these attacks, launched in the latter stages of WW2. This woman was fully conscious but buried up to her neck in debris. She survived, having received only minor injuries. Date: 1944
