Sir Saul Samuel, an Australian colonial merchant, member of parliament, pastoralist and prominent Jew, he represented the counties of Roxburgh and Wellington between 1854 and 1856 at the legislative assembly. The other figure is Sir Alfred Stephen, an Australian judge and Chief Justice of New South Wales, in office between 1845-1873. Date: circa 1918
