RMS Lusitania - postcard dated 5 May 1915 to a Miss Powell in Southampton. The card refers to a George Marks and his wife. It reads that his wife Is on the water now on the Lusitania, we feel a bit anxious as it was reported in the papers the Germans are going to sink her. Elizabeth Marks was travelling as a Third-Class passenger with her daughter Georgina: sadly both drowned in the sinking. Date: 1915
