The new monument commemorating the (roughly 25, 000) French soldiers who died in the Waterloo (18th June 1815). The French Military club erected this eagle in memory of those lost. The eagle stands where the last old guard fell. The monument stans 15ft in hight. The statue is cast in bronze. Date: 1900
