King Theebaw of Burma's Pagoda, Mandalay
A view of the pagoda of King Theebaw Min (also Thibaw or Thebaw) of Burma, during the British military expedition there. Theebaw was the last king of Burma, defeated by the British in the Third Anglo-Burmese War on 29th November 1885, upon which he was forced into exile, and Burma brought into the British Empire fully.
