Front cover of The Tatler for May 1962 celebrating London Fashion Week and featuring three models (Jean Shrimpton at the back) wearing colourful ballgowns against the backdrop of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The long evening gowns were designed specially for Tatler by three prominent members of the Fashion House Group of London. Frederick Starke made the ballgown in the foreground in gold Sekers brocade. Susan Small designed the gold satin strapless dress in the middle and the orange corded silk and regal purple at the back comes from Jean Allen. Date: 1962
