A man of the Maasai Wa-Chaga tribe sits over a forge. The Masai are a semi-nomadic ethnic group who inhabit Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania.The Wa-Chaga live at the foot of Mount Kilamanjaro, Tanzania. They are very competent blacksmiths, able to create a range of utensils, weapons, and ornaments out of pig-iron. Date: 1885
