A simple dinner gown designed by Dolly Tree for Virginia Bruce in Stronger Than Desire (1939) made of chartreuse and black silk crepe. The blouse had a straight neck and shoulder line with modified dolman sleeves. The skirt had simple, flowing lines with a full train. Bracelet and blouse ornament were the only decoration and made of antique gold and amethyst. Date: 1939
