In the time of Queen Anne, it was known as the Cheesecake House, Cake House or Minced-pie House and later was called Prices Lodge (later it was Prices Lodge, run by a widow named Frances Price). It was a place where visitors to Hyde Park could buy refreshments. It was demolished in the 19th century. Date: 1875
