Memorial to Antonio Goncalves Curado (1894-1917) of the 12th Company, 28th Infantry Regiment, who died in Flanders during the First World War. He was the first Portuguese soldier to die in combat during the War. His remains were eventually returned to Portugal in 1929. Date: 4 April 1917
