Malvina Longfellow, 1915

American actress Malvina Longfellow(1889-1962), pictured in The Bystander in 1915 at the time of her London debut in Lady Levers play The Torches of Fate. The play was performed at the Vaudeville Theatre, in aid of the fund for distressed Belgians in Belgium during World War One. The Bystander lauded her pro-Belgian credentials in the assumption of this charitable role. Date: 1915
