First produced the Prince of Wales Theatre in Mexborough, South Yorkshire on 13th April and the Elephant and Castle theatre in London on 20th July 1908. The caption reads The Prince Woos the Beggar Maid. The prince is in a sculptors studio, which he has acquired since leaving court. He woos Natilla, supposedly a misers daughter reduced to beggary, but really the daughter of the king. Date: circa 1908
