Brazil - Rio de Janeiro - The Statue of Christ the Redeemer at the summit of Mount Corcovado. Created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by the engineer Heitor da Silva Costa Brazil in collaboration with the French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida created the face of the statue. Completed on October 12th, 1931. Date: circa 1930s
