An inmate driving an eight-horse team and plough at the Ministry of Labour Instructional Centre at Claydon in Suffolk, opened in 1925 in the former Bosmere & Claydon union workhouse. At Claydon, unemployed men were trained either as handymen for employment in Britain, or were prepared for work on the land in Australia and Canada. Date: 1928
