A former inmate of the Ministry of Labour Instructional Centre at Claydon in Suffolk with a plough and team of horses in Canada. The Centre was opened in 1925 in the former Bosmere & Claydon union workhouse to train men either as handymen for employment in Britain, or for work on the land in Australia and Canada. Date: 1928
