Festival of Britain and Fun Fair, with Danish royal visitors

Views of the Festival of Britain (South Bank) and Fun Fair (Battersea). Top left is the boating pond with a cardboard 'set' suggesting English village buildings. Bottom left is an aerial view of the Fun Fair, with big dipper in the background, striped dance pavilion in the centre, fountain lake and lakeside stage in front of the Crescent Restaurant. Top right shows an informal visit to the South Bank by the Danish royal family, with King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid walking through crowds of visitors at the 'seaside' venue.
