Ginger Rogers
Ginger Rogers (1911-95) - US actress and dancer, in a publicity pin-up image taken from the Paramount film, Lady in the Dark. Ginger was born Virginia Katherine McMath and began her career dancing in vaudeville before switching from stage to screen. Her dancing partnership with Fred Astaire, with whom she made 10 films, is legendary. Date: April 5th 1944
