Romania - Tarnaveni
Tarnaveni (Dicsoszentmarton / Sankt Martin / Marteskirch) is a city and municipality in central Romania in Mures County. It lies on the Tarnava Mica River in central Transylvania. In Romanian, it was previously known as Diciosanmartin, then Tarnava-Sanmartin. Its current name was also spelled Tirnaveni. This card shows the opening of the light railway through Kis-Kukullo County on 15th June 1898, the Hospital (bottom left) and the inner part of the County Hall (top left). Date: 1898

Archduke Friedrich and Major Wienskowski, Hermannstadt
Archduke Friedrich Maria of Austria ((1856-1936), Supreme Commander of the Austro-Hungarian Army during the First World War, with Major von Wienskow (or Wienskowski) and others, during the Battle of Hermannstadt (now Sibiu) in Transylvania, on the Romanian Front. During this battle the German forces pushed back the Romanian forces. Date: autumn 1916
