Unveiling of Cenotaph, War Memorial 1920
George V seen standing close to the newly rebuilt Cenotaph in Whitehall, London at 11 oclock. As Big Ben begins to chime, the king presses the electric button releasing the two Union Jacks which covered the monument, the flags fall to the ground, revealing the War Memorial. The chimes die away, everyone fell silent for two minutes. In the foreground is the gun-carriage bearing the remains of the Unknown Warrior before the coffin goes to Westminster Abbey, London to be buried.

One of the Fountains by night. Barcelona, Spain - International Exhibition of 1929 - 1930. In a large park on the Montjuic hill, following a previous exhibition in 1888 which had not aroused much excitement, the second World Exhibition in Barcelona took place in 1929. Spanish works of art and industrial products, as well as replicas of Spanish architectural monuments in the Spanish Village were displayed. Date: 1929 - 1930
