There is a tale of a poor Turkish Dervish, who unable to afford the cost of undertaking pilgrimage, expressed his woes to his sheykh, who informed him he need only "walk around me" and his duty would be achieved.

It is the place where Muhammad's wife, grandfather, and other ancestors are buried. Khadija's tomb at Jannat al-Mu'alla cemetery, before its destruction in 1925.
