George V and sons at wedding of Princess Maud of Fife

Informal photograph of King George V pictured with two of his sons, Prince George (centre), later Duke of Kent and Prince Albert, later King George VI, all at the wedding of Princess Maud of Fife, the King's niece. The royal party had just seen the newlyweds (she married Charles Carnegie, Earl of Southesk on November 12th 1923 at the Guards Chapel) hence the confetti of petals lying on the ground. Date: 1923
